Mr. Donato is a Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Materials Manager and Certified Ergonomics Compliance Director. He specializes in OSHA compliance training, including customized programs. He has a strong background in emergency response, including HAZMAT spills, bio-agent releases, fire response, and medical response.
Mr. Donato also provides guidance and training for ergonomic evaluations in laboratories and manufacturing operations.
Mr. Donato’s career includes positions of facility manager, safety director, production, shipping, and manufacturing supervision, as well as engineer. He holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and is currently a Principle at K & A First Aid, LLC.
Topic:
Mr. Bruce Donato of K & A First Aid previously discussed safety and health regulations that affect the building service worker industry including what would OSHA look for if they inspected your building. This session is a follow-up on two of the most frequently cited standards, the Hazard Communication Standard and the Bloodborne Pathogen standard, both of which the Building Service Worker Employers must comply with.
Mr. Donato will give an overview of the standards and provide methods for assuring compliance with each of these including proper understanding of hazardous materials and how to read a MSDS and how to comply with the annual training of the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard.
