Let’s face it: it happens. Current and former employees frequently file charges of discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation to contest adverse employment actions. Whether these charges are filed with federal, state, county or city EEO agencies, CABSC members face significant exposure of liability for potential damages and attorneys’ fees and costs. In this lively interactive and educational session, long-time CABSC speaker Mike Stevens will discuss strategies for responding to EEOC charges in a manner that maximizes the potential that they will be dismissed, and minimizes the possibility that the charging party will subsequently file a lawsuit.
This program may qualify as 1 hour of continuing education/training credit that may be used toward various certification programs.
